The pioneer for the use of LIDAR and its incorporation into MOSS designing software for immediate design in highway projects in Asia, Minconsult has undertaken urban, rural and mountainous highways both locally and internationally for over 37 years. The Highway Division claims a portfolio with works in countries such as Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The Highway Division has conducted highway feasibility studies as well as the National Axle Load Study; completed 80% of the major highways in Putrajaya; and implemented the first precast flyover project at KL Sentral.
Minconsult was appointed by the Government as Consultant for the initial KL-Karak Highway and designed the first and longest road tunnel in Malaysia. The tunnel, which measures 900m in length and is situated 610m above sea level, was opened to the public in January, 1978.

Minconsult was the first Malaysian consultancy firm to open an office in Australia.
