The Marine Division has handled all types of marine projects ranging from containers, bulk handlings, all cargoes, passengers, coal and specialized chemicals, to oil and gas. Its Port planning experience includes its involvement in the National Transport Policy and Strategy Study (NEAC), which also included the National Port Development Plan policy study, encompassing defining policy issues, macro-economic studies, traffic forecasting of all transportation modes, financial modelling, tariff reviews and recommendations.

The division has also managed the preliminary studies and implementation of two massive breakwaters, one of which is situated at Kertih Port. The Kertih port is the 3rd largest port in peninsular Malaysia and also the second largest Oil & Gas port in Asia. The massive breakwater protecting its coast line is the largest in Malaysia.
