Detail Narrative Description of Project
The Government of Malaysia under the National Key Result Areas (NKRAs) has targeted to increase the use of Public Transport in the Klang Valley from the current 16% to 40% by 2020. In view of this Gamuda MMc JV has submitted a proposal to implement a MRT Network of 141 km to achieve the target set by NKRAs. The network consists of a Red Line from Sg. Buloh to Sri Kembangan (51km) Green Line from Sg. Buloh to Kajang (50km) and a Circe Line (40km) serving major population and employment areas in the city. The cost of construction is estimated at 3.6 Billion

Consulting services to review and advise the GOM on the proposal submitted by Gamuda - MMC JV in relation to its suitability with policy objectives, strategies on public transport, socio-economic benefits and to study the feasibility and costs of the proposal
