The scheme includes a river intake with a pump station to deliver raw water to a treatment plant. The works were designed for an ultimate capacity of 55 MLD. A treated water reservoir of 9.1 ML, a main pump station, 32 km of pumping mains, 100 km of distribution mains, seven service reservoirs and three booster pump stations were constructed t distribute the water supply. A building complex for operation, control, and maintenance, including workshops and store was also included.
Detail Description of Actual Services
Consultancy services provided include detailed engineering design, preparation of drawings and tender documents, calling and recommendation of bids, supervision of construction and commissioning of the works. This project was carried out in association with Engineering Science Inc. of USA.
